Photographic slides

Amongst the artefacts discovered in the archives are a number of wooden boxes of 3¼ inch (8cm) photographic slides, plus wooden boxes and four-drawer metal cabinets of 2 inch (5cm) slides. The larger slides are of the PLA, the smaller slides are of the PLA and Nimrod and have been photographed simply as a record. Initials in the photograph ID are the series ID, though what each series actually is unclear. Most of the slides have been labelled with a negative number, slide sequence number and sometimes a box number but sometimes these labels are obscured, have fallen off altogether or the slide may have been "borrowed" then put back in the wrong place.
