Building R1

The November 1964 issue of the Lab journal Orbit includes a letter from Edward Harrison suggesting that Newton's quote be installed on a plaque in the entrance hall of R1. He worked at RHEL for several years on the AERE staff before joining the Nimrod General Physics Group, and was one of the instigators of Orbit. Might he also have been the inspiration behind the wall art?
